I never had to worry about a single detail. I visited the construction site when I could, mostly because I was excited to see the progress, but regular photo updates and trustworthy work ensured that I didn’t have to worry that anything was being mishandled. They are true to their word and have open conversations about changes in the project. For instance, the project started one day later than the promised date and finished 3 days later than the finish date. 🙀🙀🙀🙀🙀 I’ll take a change in plan like that any day! They would notify me of adjustments they wanted to make to the build plans, and they were ALWAYS improvements. MHM thinks carefully through the details and will under promise and WAY over deliver. My kudos to Botond, who thoroughly studies and understands the project plans before the first meeting. He was very transparent with me and explained his understanding of the scope of the project from an engineer’s mindset, which I appreciated deeply. Warren, who managed our project, is the epitome of hard work, trust, and having your best interests in mind. He made it an extremely enjoyable experience and ultimately created the most beautiful areas in my home. I have to add my thanks to Ross and Santos, who contributed so much to this project.

I highly recommend Botond Lazlo and the team at MHM LIving Design. We did an extensive remodel of multiple bathrooms last summer. The team worked with us on exactly the design we wanted for each bathroom, and then worked with us to find all the right fittings and accessories. It was so extensive, we moved out for most of the summer! Along the way, there were some surprises and some changes. Botond and the team took these in stride and minimized the impact to the entire project. They kept the house clean and undamaged despite heavy work for three months. We are delighted with the outcome! We’ve recommended them to close friends, and not only would we work with MHM again…I am not sure I would trust our house to anyone else.

We worked with MHM to complete a major remodel of our home including complete renovations to our kitchen, living and dining rooms, and a ground floor bathroom. We were astounded with the final product as it surpassed all our possible expectations. They took a compartmentalized design and created an open, seamless floor plan with incredible functionality. The end product is stunningly beautiful.

An equally impressive aspect to MHM is their process. Bontond Lazlo and Jin Crimmins visited with us during the design phase and truly sought to understand how we live, how we utilize the space, and what we thought the space could be. From this they developed options we could never have anticipated. They incorporated what we knew we wanted and educated us on elements we would never have considered and did not even realize were possible. Their attention to detail and insistence on craftsmanship is unparalleled. They communicated every aspect of the project in advance and met the timeline despite some last-minute additions to the project we requested. Their construction process is without comparison. They provided daily project updates and pictures throughout the project and kept us engaged and informed at every milestone.

MHM has locked in the full process in a way that eliminated any uncertainty or stress. It was a true pleasure to work with Bontond and Jin and the entire MHM crew. We feel like we are living in an entirely new home.

I had misgivings about hiring contractors to work on the house we just bought last summer. Marvelous Home Makeovers was highly recommended to us by our close friends and we went for it. They were terrific to work with from beginning to end. Botond has a great eye for details. After talking over the remodeling, we trusted him implicitly with our project. And we couldn’t be more happy with the results. They’ll be the first people we contact when we do our next home improvement/remodeling project.

We used Botand and MHM on two different home projects. First I did my kitchen and three bathrooms and then I later used them to renovate my office. I was so pleased on both occasions. .  With MHM, we did not start the project until they had all supplies on hand and then they completed it in a very timely manner ahead of schedule. Communication was great and the quality of the work was top notch. I think Botand has a good vision of possibilities and I appreciated his candor and honesty.

We had a very good (as in exceptional) experience with MHM. We were planning a remodel of our bathroom but never made time to find someone. The one time we tried getting an estimate from someone we never got a call back. Then I heard about MHM on David Johnson’s CEO Spotlight. It seemed like odd timing and then everything clicked in place. We started to go through the process of estimates and design and everything went so smooth. We never looked back and did a complete remodel instead of just the bathroom.

The whole process was so amazing.  We would bring friends by to look at the progress and they were always amazed at how clean the place was.  They cleaned up every day and were prompt every day, very courteous and did amazing work.

We never had to worry about anything.  MHM took care of every detail including all those that had to be hired for tile or floor work.  It was amazing to see how efficient they were from start to finish.

We have heard a lot of horror stories of people working with multiple contractors and getting schedules delayed or even worse not getting the job done correctly. But for us, with MHM, we never had to worry about any of that. Botond gave us a schedule up front that laid out what was planned every week.  They stuck to the schedule (well, actually, they finished a week early) so we knew what was happening at all times. In fact, we moved out during the work and they would post pictures on progress to keep us updated.  We could see everything going on as progress was made.

Another item that helped us so much is that MHM is a complete design and build company.  We really didn’t know exactly what we wanted.  Botond is so good at what he does that he has a feel for all the current trends, what will be good for the long run and what is not a good idea for future use.  It was so nice to put our complete trust in the company.

The crews were amazing at what they did and knew every detail of what needed to be done.  They were always courteous when we met them at the house and helpful explaining all the work they were doing.

We did have some changes we wanted along the way and they accommodated us with those requests.

I don’t really know how to put in words how lucky we feel to have come across MHM.  From the starty we knew they were the right ones. We really enjoy showing off our 20year old home to friends and family and have been entertaining more like we always wanted to in the past.
